admin.foxycart.com Slow Performance on Admin

8pm Pacific: We are investigating a slowdown in our admin. We will update as we have more information.

11pm Pacific: We are continuing to monitor and diagnose, but service has been restored.

RESOLUTION UPDATE: Thursday, April 2, 2020, 10am Pacific: We have determined the root cause of this performance issue, and have resolved it. In certain store-related actions (modifying the store via the admin or API), as part of clearing the cache, we triggered a cache invalidation request to our backup CDN. Changes in that system resulted in rate limiting to their API, and since this particular request was blocking, it resulted in a slowdown to certain write behaviours in the admin and API.

We have resolved this issue at this point. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced withslow admin page loads.

FoxyCart Service Email Delivery Delays

At about 12pm Pacific, Monday March 30, 2020, we became aware of delays in emails being delivered. We are looking into the cause.

UPDATE 1:33pm Pacific: This looks to be an issue with SendGrid.com, whom we use to send emails. Their status page currently doesn't show any issues, but we are working with them to determine the cause.

UPDATE 2:09pm Pacific: We've confirmed this is an issue on the SendGrid.com side of things. Emails appear to be sending in batches rather than immediately. We are working to get it escalated on their end.

UPDATE 2:40pm Pacific: Email delivery has returned to normal. We are continuing to monitor.
